CWS 2011 Project : Corporate Village

First Site Visits...

A friend at the Douglas County Engineers office found great aerial photographs of the site...

I used the aerial photographs as image references in CAD to make sure my measurements were accurate.
**Thanks for the help guys!!

Rough Draft Tent Layouts...

Yellow - generators
Blue - 20X20 tent
Grey - 20X30 tent
Green - 20X40 tent
Yellow Zone -  state regulated area directly under the highway overpass
We cannot place tents on this portion of the site; we may be able to use it for parking?

Building the site in Autodesk Revit...

CORPORATE VILLAGE PRESENTATION...

Corporate Village Site Map & Location Diagram

Tent Diagram (above)
20x20 Tent: 1 36in with 4 chairs, and two 48in tables 6 chairs
20x30 Tent: 2 36in tables and 3 48in tables
20x40 Tent: with 2 36in tables and 4 48in tables

3D Renderings....
The client had never seen a computer rendering so he was unsure if it was a necessary expense.  This quick Revit render (above) sold him on the idea.   Several changes were made from this point; for example..
*In order to create more privacy, the clients decided that each tent should have only one point of access.
*Seating inside the tents was reduced drastically
*bar-height tables & stools replaced original outdoor seating

Ground level perspectives before photoshop.

I chose to save time/money by adding materials in photoshop after rendering the perspectives in Autodesk Revit.  (Adding materials in Revit or 3D Studio Max would have resulted in more photo realistic images)
